The Party descended Mt. Zanlis to find and destroy the Jurulisk. After travelling for a day, they started encountering experiencing deja-vu and seeing strange glitch-like effects. Eventually reaching the Jurulisk, they found it wandering around some ruins. Crankshaft engaged the creature and a long battle ensued. At first the Party had difficulty effecting the creature due to its minimal form, but eventually a well placed Bloom thrown by Benedict and a precise strike by Eth injured the Jurulisk greatly. On its death throws the creature moved to Jared, trapping him like a cage. Jared prompted Yolpen to charge the Jurulisk, knocking it apart. A well placed volley of slugs from Jo finished the creature off and it phased out of existence.
The Party then travelled back to the peak of Mt. Zanlis and the Dark Master granted Crankshaft his wish. Being teleported, they found themselves at the foot of the mountain with Crankshaft’s car fully assembled. Finding the car difficult to ride at top speed, Crankshaft began alterations to allow harnesses for passengers, and the Party made rest of the trip to Shallamas in record time.
Arriving in Shallamas, the Party was not allowed to bring the car inside the city due to its loud engine, so they left it outside. Once in the city, the Party headed to a tavern called the Leaky Flagon to start looking for Portia. While sitting at the bar, a pickpocket tried to grab Jared’s coinpurse. Jared caught him and sent him off after hearing about a seskii fighting ring in a shady tavern called the Seskii Pit. The Party went to the markest to purchase a seskii, but Jared found himself unable to subject the animal to blood sport. The Party then went to the Seskii Pit and talked their way into the basement.
== At this point Indra (Jared) and Danielle (Eth) left the session ==
Crankshaft and Benedict, with the help of Jo, interupted the seskii fight and killed the pair of people that were running the fights. They then investigated the back office and found a piece of paper hidden inside a ledger. This paper had a list of pairs of names, most of which were corssed out. Upon walking back into the larger room, they saw an Echo of a group of lowlifes commenting of Zelatrius’s death and remarking how the person leaking names of undercover Shadowling agents was really mixing things up in Shallams. Crankshaft came to the conclusion that the piece of paper they had found was a list of aliases and real names of Shadowling agents and the crossed out names belonged to people who had been killed. Figruing that the Jagged Dream might have some hand in this, they decided to investigate.
They headed to the Provani Family’s manor and left an appointement request with a gaurd.
